Dr. Tsai completed her fellowship at Harvard Medical School and received her Masters of Public Health from Harvard School of Public Health.
She has been practicing medicine in California since 1997 and opened her Los Angeles laser clinic in 2001, specializing in tattoo removal. She has been treating patients at her own private practice in San Francisco since 2005.
Dr. Tsai has studied with internationally known laser experts Dr. Eliot Battle, MD, and Dr. Monte O. Harris, MD. She has also trained extensively with nationally renowned aesthetic injectable key opinion leader (KOL) and Allergan Medical Institute (AMI) master-level trainer, Dr. Steve Yoelin, to name a few. Over her many years in practice, she has attended countless trainings and various aesthetics conferences across the country and internationally. Continuing education and patient safety are of the highest importance as a practitioner and she wants to stay on top of the latest advancements in those areas as they relate to aesthetic medicine.
Dr. Tsai is an expert and AMI master course trained Injector (Allergan Aesthetics) in administering neuromodulators and dermal filler injections including Botox-C, Dysport, Restylane, Kybella and the entire Juvéderm Collection. Her aesthetic approach for all genders focuses on complementing the natural structure of your face, while minimizing any discomfort associated with injectable treatments. Her conservative approach to treatments resulting in a natural look is what makes her patients continue to see her for years and refer her to friends and family! She is also an expert in supplementing these treatments with top pharmaceutical grade skincare lines, many of which are carried in her practice.
Dr. Tsai is proud once again to be a Top 500 practice in 2023 (as well as 2022 and 2021) with Allergan Aesthetics, the makers of Botox-C and Juvéderm. Once a year, Allergan Aesthetics awards aesthetics practices nationwide through its “Allergan Partner Privileges” program (APP) and this rare distinction places her amongst the top 1% of aesthetic practices in the nation.
The exclusive Top 500 practice level status with Allergan Aesthetics is given to practice’s based on the provider’s compliance with training, education, and volume of cosmetic injectable treatments performed each year.
Dr. Tsai has been a part of many medical missions and a few are highlighted here. She dedicates her time and skills to assisting on medical missions all around the globe, specifically in places where they are in desperate need of medical care and assistance.

She had the opportunity to save lives and improve the quality of people’s lives, thus renewing her love of medicine. Another organization that Dr. Tsai volunteers with, Flying Doctors of America, organizes medical missions throughout the world.
The organization was founded in 2002 and has since expanded enough to open an outpatient clinic in Tanzania.
In July of 2015, Dr. Tsai once again traveled to Africa, to volunteer with White Coat Brigade, a medical brigade that teams up with Out of the Ashes, a group who volunteer to help a community living in the village of Korah, located in Ethiopia.
