What Can I expect at my first appointment?
You will have a 30 minute consultation with Dr. Tsai. At that time, you can discuss all of your skin concerns and learn the best course of action. The consultation is $150 but will be applied to the cost of treatment if received within three months.
On your first visit to SF Aesthetics, it is not necessary to arrive earlier than your scheduled appointment time as we have provided additional time to complete your new patient intake. You will see Dr. Tsai approximately 15 minutes after your scheduled appointment time. Please be prepared to be at the office for 45 minutes.
New patient intake paperwork is required to be filled out prior to having a consultation with Dr. Tsai.
For a consultation regarding cosmetic concerns of the face, please arrive without or be prepared to remove make up. Facial cleansers and wipes, if needed, are provided by SF Aesthetics.
At SF Aesthetics and Laser Center we try our best to accommodate your busy schedule by offering evening appointments. Contingent on the Doctor’s schedule, we sometimes book weekend appointments as well, please ask us to add you to the weekend wait list!

Payment for your treatments is due at the time of service. We do not accept payment plans. We accept Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Discover, checks and cash. Cosmetic procedures are not covered by insurance, therefore we cannot bill your insurance. Certain procedures for Rosacea or Hyperhidrosis may be eligible for reimbursement from your insurance. We can provide all of the necessary documentation for self-billing, however we suggest speaking with your insurance company prior to treatment.
If you are unable to make your appointment, please provide 48 hours notice to avoid a late cancellation charge. We appreciate your help in keeping our schedule up to date and accurate so we can accommodate patients who might be waiting for an appointment. All appointments are reserved with a credit card or debit card number to be kept on file to ensure that patients cancel or reschedule their appointments within the 48 hour time frame. We charge $100 for no shows and $75 for late cancellations for weekend appointments.
